K-Pop Star Goo Hara Dies At Her Home In Seoul, South Korea At Age 28

Sad news out of SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA about the passing of K-Pop star GOO HARA who was found by an acquaintance on SUNDAY (11/24). She was only 28.
GOO was a former member of the five-member girl group KARA from 2008 to 2015. Then as a solo artist she had a successful music, film and TV career.
According to VARIETY, authorities have not determined the cause of death, but HARA a former member the of the five member girl group KARA from 2008 to 2015 had attempted suicide back in MARCH of this year after an ex-boyfriend attempted to blackmail her with threats of assault and the release of a sex video.
That caused GOO to shop for new representation and she signed with a leading talent management agency PRODUCTION OGI in JAPAN where she was very popular. OGI got GOO booked on numerous TV shows and major fashion events in JAPAN. She also released a solo Japanese single “Midnight Queen” on NOVEMBER 13
