Urban One, Radio One, Reach Media, Celebrate Syndication Changes In 2020

URBAN ONE, RADIO ONE, and REACH MEDIA recently hosted “A TOAST TO THE TALENT” party featuring syndicated RICKEY SMILEY, DL HUGHLEY, and HEADKRACK. It took place At the ALLEY CAT LOUNGE beneath the BEEKMAN HOTEL in NYC.

URBAN ONE CEO ALFRED LIGGINS, RADIO ONE/REACH MEDIA CEO DAVID KANTOR, and RADIO ONE/REACH MEDIA VP National Sales JOSH RAHMANI welcomed guests to the celebration.

The toast highlighted the coming year for URBAN ONE with established REACH MEDIA talent expanding their roles to an audience, first cultivated in syndication by TOM JOYNER who will retire at the end of this year.

RICKEY SMILEY will move from his morning Urban formatted show to take over JOYNER’s AM show targeted to an Urban AC audience. HEADKRACK will take over mornings from SMILEY on the Urban side co-hosting THE MORNING HUSTLE WITH LORE’L, ANGIE ANGE AND "ON AIR" JORDAN. THE DL HUGHLEY SHOW in PM drive will continue to expand its base in the coming year.

In 2020 REACH MEDIA will also launch into syndication an evening Urban AC show, LOVE AND R&B HOSTED BY AL B. SURE! and SYBIL WILKES will host a news and information show, WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.
