MPR News' Nancy Cassutt Takes Temporary Role As Managing Dir. Of News At Marketplace

MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO's MPR NEWS Exec. Dir./News and Programming NANCY CASSUTT is taking a year away from MPR to temporarily join sister AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA company MARKETPLACE in LOS ANGELES as Managing Director of News. The MINNEAPOLIS STAR TRIBUNE reports that CASSUTT plans to return to MPR after a year and a replacement for her MPR post will be announced "very soon."

CASSUTT joined MPR in 2010 as Managing Dir./Digital Services, then led APM's national distribution team and served as MPR's Managing Dir./Content Initiatives before assuming her current post in 2016.
