STARLITE BROADCASTING Hot AC KLTG (THE BEACH 96.5)/CORPUS CHRISTI puts together an annual free listener appreciation concert as a way of saying thanks to their faithful audience.  Tis the season, after all.  

KLTG OM MONIQUE CERVANTES told ALL ACCESS that "this year, we wanted to do something with a bigger purpose, so we decided to team up with TOYS FOR TOTS."  

The plot thickened as CURB WORD artists FOR KING AND COUNTRY had a show close by on the same day and after the station huddled with CURB RECORDS SVP/PROMOTION CHERYL BROZ, the band was able to detour and help the cause. 

CERVANTES explained, "It was a free concert, but we encouraged our listeners to donate a toy and ended up collecting over 25 BOXES of new toys that will help hundreds of kids in the COASTAL BEND enjoy CHRISTMAS.  FOR KING AND COUNTRY was amazing and very personable with our listeners.  Even though they had a show to perform that night, they stayed to meet their fans and take pictures.  They were very gracious and humble.  It was an incredible and uplifting experience and we hope that we can work with them again in the future."

FOR KING AND COUNTRY is coming off of their biggest success to date at the format, with "God Only Knows" hitting the top 20 on the MEDIABASE chart.
