Stitcher Inks 'My Favorite Murder'/Exactly Right Network Founders Karen Kilgariff, Georgia Hardstark To Contract Extension

STITCHER has signed KAREN KILGARIFF and GEORGIA HARDSTARK, the creators and hosts of the podcast "MY FAVORITE MURDER" and the EXACTLY RIGHT NETWORK, to a contract extension keeping the show and network under the STITCHER umbrella for another two years. KILGARIFF and HARDSTARK launched EXACTLY RIGHT with STITCHER last year and the parties expect to generate over a dozen new podcasts, with STITCHER financing show development and staff hirings in marketing, business development, production, and ad sales representation.

In a press release, KILGARIFF and HARDSTARK said, "Delivering the best podcasts to our fans is our No.1 goal, and STITCHER is unique in that they provide the resources to do that efficiently and successfully, no questions asked."

The hosts' agent, UTA Head of Emerging Platforms OREN ROSENBAUM, said, "GEORGIA and KAREN have been pioneers in creating a true multi-pronged business from the genesis of a podcast.
