The RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS ASSOCIATION (RTDNA) has added two new categories for the 2020 EDWARD R. MURROW AWARDS. The new categories are one for Podcasts, accepting either single episodes or series compilations, and Feature-Length Documentary, for network TV stations, allowing for submission of documentaries longer than the 60-minute time limit for the existing News Documentary category. The awards imprints have also been updated to a more modern design.
“RTDNA has been proud to present the most prestigious awards in broadcast and digital news since 1971, and we look forward to continuing to honor the best-of-the-best as news formats evolve,” says RTDNA Executive Director DAN SHELLEY. “It’s more important than ever to uphold and honor the legacy of EDWARD R. MURROW.”
Entries will be accepted starting THURSDAY (12/12) through FEBRUARY 14th, with a $10 discount for entries submitted by FEBRUARY 6th. Find out more here.
