Ahmet Zappa To Host Monthly Show For SiriusXM Volume

AHMET ZAPPA will host a new monthly talk show, "ROCKTAILS," on SIRIUSXM VOLUME, starting THURSDAY (12/12) at 9p (ET). ZAPPA, who will be joined by co-hosts BRENDAN SMITH and RICHARD SCHELTINGA, hosted a show for the now-defunct COMEDY WORLD RADIO NETWORK in 2001. The first episode will feature guest IAN ASTBURY of THE CULT.

“I’ve listened avidly to VOLUME 106 since its premiere on SIRIUSXM and I’m beyond thrilled to be joining this awesome team,” said ZAPPA. “I look forward to sharing my unique point of view with all of the VOLUME listeners and hope their seat belts are fastened for the insanity that is ROCKTAILS.  Our show is all about having unfiltered conversations about my favorite thing to talk about -- music -- because music is the best.”
