The DESERT SUN reports that ALPHA MEDIA News-Talk KNWZ-A-K284CR-KNWQ-A-K232CX-KNWH-A-K279CO (K-NEWS 94.3 104.7)/PALM SPRINGS morning co-host BILL FEINGOLD has returned to the air after taking leave for the last four months to get treatment for stage four liver cancer.
FEINGOLD, 70, who hosts mornings with KEVIN HOLMES, began chemotherapy in SEPTEMBER (NET NEWS 8/29); his return on MONDAY's show focused on his health, with listener calls about cancer and FEINGOLD discussing how his cancer would have been caught earlier had he not stopped getting regular colonoscopies when he was 63. FEINGOLD said that he is continuing to receive chemotherapy and that while his health is still "up in the air," he will remain on the air for "as long as I can do the show."
