Dustin Matthews Named Dir. Of Rock Programming At WBIG (Big 100)-WWDC (DC101)/Washington

IHEARTMEDIA Alternative WEND (106.5 THE END)/CHARLOTTE PD/afternoon host DUSTIN MATTHEWS has been named Director of Rock Programming for sister Classic Rock WBIG-F (BIG 100) and Alternative WWDC (DC101)/WASHINGTON, effective JANUARY 13th. MATTHEWS will report to WASHINGTON/BALTIMORE Region SVP of Programming JEFF KAPUGI; he fills the slot that will be vacated when MIKE KILLABREW returns to sister Rock WFBQ (Q95) and Alternative WOLT (ALT 103.3)/INDIANAPOLIS as SVP/Programming on JANUARY 1st (NET NEWS 11/4).
“DUSTIN is one of the most dynamic rock programmers in the country,” said KAPUGI. “His programming expertise combined with his creativity and passion for our rock brands is unparalleled, and we look forward to welcoming him to WASHINGTON, D.C.”
MATTHEWS (a/k/a "FLETCHER" on the air at THE END), whose experience includes stops at iHEARTMEDIA Alternative KLLT (ALT 104.9)/ST.
