WESTWOOD ONE’s “The TY BENTLI Show” recently wrapped its third annual “100,000 Thank Yous” campaign, in which the team collected 153,422 thank you notes for U.S. military members. The initiative brought together Country stars and fans, all of whom contributed notes to deployed service members. Contributing artists included LUKE COMBS, MIRANDA LAMBERT, JUSTIN MOORE, JASON ALDEAN, KANE BROWN, OLD DOMINION, BRAD PAISLEY and MITCHELL TENPENNY, many of whom stopped by the show’s NASHVILLE studios to write their own letters and talk about the importance of supporting our troops.
The morning show’s team far exceeded its goal of 100,000 notes during this year’s campaign, which ran from NOVEMBER 4th through DECEMBER 9th. The notes will be included in care packages put together and sent to deployed troops by partner OPERATION GRATITUDE.
Host TY BENTLI said, “On behalf of everyone at ‘The TY BENTLI Show,’ we want to thank everyone who took the time to honor the women and men who place their safety on the line in order for us to celebrate with our loved ones during this holiday season and throughout the year. The support from the Country music community - both artists and fans alike - has been unbelievable.”
