MIGUEL "MIJO" IRIZARRY has signed a new multiyear contract to remain as PD and Midday Host at ENTERCOM  Rhythmic Top 40 WPOW (POWER 96)/MIAMI. 

Commented ENTERCOM SOUTH FLORIDA SVP/MM KERIANN WORLEY, “‘MIJO’ has been a strong force in the POWER 96 studio over the last year. We are thrilled that he will continue to lead one of our most iconic brands in our cluster.”

MIJO first joined POWER 96 in AUGUST 2017. He assumed the role of PD in OCTOBER 2018. He has also previously held on-air roles for sister station Top 40 WTDY (then WIRED 96.5) in PHILADELPHIA and MAINESTRREAM MEDIA Rhythmic Top 40  WHTP (HOT 104.7)/PORTLAND, ME, where he also served as the station’s MD.
