Z88.3/Orlando Moves Carol Ellingson to On-Air Role

CENTRAL FLORIDA MEDIA FOUNDATION Contemporary Christian WPOZ (Z88.3)/ORLANDO announced today former veteran Promotions Dir. CAROL ELLINGSON will begin tackling on-air responsibilities for the station in 2020. She will also continue to oversee the company's social media department.

“After volunteering to take on shifts when we launched ZRewind, we threw CAROL into the deep end with voicetracking," said WPOZ Pres./Founder JIM HOGE. "She picked it up without drowning! We knew there was something there. While it will be hard to fill her shoes on the Promotions side, we’re looking forward to seeing how God continues to grow the Z with this new change.”

PD DEAN O'NEAL and APD/MD JENNIFER WINBORN are also looking forward to working with her on the programming side.

“I believe with all her years in promotions focusing on our station demo, she is uniquely gifted to be on the Z," says O'NEAL. "She lives and breathes Z DNA, which is something we can’t easily teach. That’s why we’re so excited to see her grow in this new role.” 

In light of this transition, Z88.3 is now searching to replace CAROL's 15-year role as Promotions Director.
