Arky Shea Exits WUMP/Huntsville, AL

CUMULUS Sports WUMP-A-W280BA (SPORTSRADIO 730 AM 103.9 FM THE UMP)/HUNTSVILLE, AL PD and host ARKY SHEA has exited the station after over six years, the last four as PD.

SHEA, who joined THE UMP as a producer and THOM ABRAHAM's co-host in 2013 after hosting at WMXA-WKKR/AUBURN, AL and WZZN (97.7 THE ZONE)/HUNTSVILLE, tweeted that his position has been eliminated. He had been co-hosting "LOCKDOWN COVERAGE" weekdays 2-6p (CT) with JASON MARKS. BARRETT SPORTS MEDIA is reporting that SHEA's PD duties will be assumed by sister News-Talk WVNN-A-F PD DALE JACKSON and his co-hosting slot alongside MARKS is being assumed by weekender TONY MAC.
