Country radio consultants MIKE O’MALLEY and BECKY BRENNER of ALBRIGHT & O’MALLEY & BRENNER (A&O&B) will host their 26th annual Pre-CRS seminar on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19th from 8:30-11:30a at the OMNI HOTEL in downtown NASHVILLE. This year's seminar will offer the first highlights from A&O&B's 15th annual online perceptual study, “Roadmap 2020,” the largest study of Country P1s in the U.S. and CANADA. In addition, BMLG RECORDS artist DANIELLE BRADBERY will be the seminar's featured artist, with an acoustic performance and meet-and-greet on tap. Additional speakers will be announced at a later date.
At the seminar, A&O&B will offer insights into what 2020 holds for Country radio, in light of statistics from 2019 showing 91% of Country P1s saying they listened to Country radio "the same or more" in the previous 12 months, with FACEBOOK topping social media platforms for Country P1s but eroding in 2019. The seminar will also include presentations on personal career growth, owning your market, and more practical tips on ratings and revenue building.
O'MALLEY said, “Inspiration and innovation come from events like this, the COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR, and anywhere information is shared; and 'what if' is celebrated. Providing an annual opportunity for this knowledge/idea sharing is important to us because, while this is a Country-centric event, the takeaways go beyond a single format. In the end, it's about great radio and ways to make long lasting connections with listeners."
BRENNER added, “We are thrilled to be back at the OMNI in partnership with our friends at COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR. This fast paced 3.5 hours are some of the most talked about at CRS. It is an opportunity to share, learn, grow and re-energize for the new year!"
The A&O&B Pre-CRS Seminar is free and open to all clients, as well as to broadcasters in non-competitive situations. RSVP to O’MALLEY here or BRENNER here.
