New Country TV Network Circle Names Executive Leadership Team

New television network CIRCLE has named its executive leadership team. The network, launching in JANUARY, will focus on Country music lifestyle programming (NET NEWS 12/11).
GEOFF DEFRANCE, most recently at MOTOR TREND GROUP, is joining CIRCLE as SVP/Digital; AXS TV VP/Development, Programming and Production EVAN HAIMAN has been named SVP/Content; and the ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC's TERESA GEORGE comes aboard as VP/Strategic Partnerships. All three are based in NASHVILLE and report to CIRCLE MEDIA GM DREW REIFENBERGER.
CIRCLE is a partnership between RYMAN HOSPITALITY PROPERTIES’ OPRY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP and GRAY TELEVISION. It will be available on GRAY TELEVISION stations across 56 markets throughout the country, as well as on stations in additional major through a separate distribution agreement with CBS TELEVISION STATIONS. CIRCLE will launch a streaming premium service in SPRING 2020.
