ASCAP Foundation Honors EmiSunshine With Desmond Child Anthem Award

Country singer/songwriter EMISUNSHINE received The ASCAP FOUNDATION "DESMOND Child Anthem Award" last night (12/11) during the ASCAP FOUNDATION Honors event at LINCOLN CENTER in NEW YORK. The award recognizes promising young songwriters, and was originally established by songwriter-producer and ASCAP Board member DESMOND CHILD.

"EMISUNSHINE, who is still only 15 years old, is one of the most talented up-and-coming artists and songwriters I've ever heard in AMERICAN music, and I am extremely proud to present this award to her,” said CHILD.

Her most recent album, "Family Wars," was produced by legendary NASHVILLE producer TONY BROWN.
