WMIL (FM 106.1)/Milwaukee Raises Over $230k For St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

IHEARTMEDIA Country WMIL (FM106.1)/MILWAUKEE's third annual two-day ST. JUDE RADIOTHON raised more than $238,000 to benefit ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL. 

The RADIOTHON featured FM106.1’s on-air personalities RIDDER, SCOTT & SHANNEN, QUINN and HANNAH, who encouraged listeners to donate on-air and online on DECEMBER 5th and 6th. Over the last three years, FM106.1 has raised almost $700,000 to benefit the hospital.

iHEARTMEDIA MILWAUKEE SVP Programming KERRY WOLFE said, “I am so proud of this entire team. They all worked extra-long days to raise the necessary funds to help cure childhood cancer. They’ve all been to ST. JUDE and have seen first-hand the great work this place does. They take it personally, and it shows in their tireless campaign. We hope to be able to say one day that we helped wipe out this horrible disease.”
