WAXQ (Q104.3)/New York's Shelli Sonstein Honored For Advocacy For NYPD, 9/11 Toxin Victims

The COMMITTEE OF POLICE SOCIETIES honored longtime iHEARTMEDIA Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3)/NEW YORK "JIM KERR ROCK & ROLL MORNING SHOW" co-host SHELLI SONSTEIN with an award for her ongoing support of the NEW YORK POLICE DEPARTMENT and 9/11 toxin victims at a luncheon on THURSDAY (12/12). The honor noted SONSTEIN's “Loyalty, Dedication and Faithful Service to the NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, the CITY OF NEW YORK, and the COMMITTEE OF POLICE SOCIETIES.”

SONSTEIN told the luncheon audience that she will continue to publicly speak out and advocate for the victims of the toxins released into the air at GROUND ZERO “as long as I have a microphone in front of me!”
