MEDIATRACKS COMMUNICATIONS is celebrating its 30th anniversary on DECEMBER 22nd. The company, founded by SHEL LUSTIG and REED PENCE and based in DES PLAINES, IL, produces nationally syndicated public affairs radio programming. The company launched its flagship show, "RADIO HEALTH JOURNAL," on 53 stations in 1992; the show now airs on over 600 stations.
PENCE said, “Quite a lot has changed in our industry over the last 30 years. We’ve moved from sending shows to our affiliates on reel-to-reel tape, to CD and now to Internet delivery -- and today, we still have the most station-friendly way of airing public affairs radio programming in the nation.”
“Reliable, high-quality, syndicated public affairs programming is a must in today’s competitive radio landscape. It saves time and money for stations, and allows them to fulfill their public affairs compliancy requirements. The key to our success and longevity has always been our ability to adapt with the times and meet our affiliates’ changing needs,” said LUSTIG. “We’ve been in this business for 30 years and plan to continue to exceed expectations for many more years to come.”
