CBC ‘Q’ Host Tom Power Launches Bluegrass Podcast For BGS

CBC "Q" host TOM POWER is the host of a new podcast for BGS (BLUEGRASS SITUATION) PODCAST NETWORK, "TOY HEART: A PODCAST ABOUT BLUEGRASS." The show premieres TODAY (3/5) with the MCCOURY family -- DEL and his sons RONNIE and ROB; Eight episodes will be released on an every other week schedule.

POWER said, "I’ve spent years sitting down with celebrities, and while I've been excited and honored to speak with the likes of GEORGE CLOONEY, EMMA STONE, KEITH URBAN, and CHRIS ROCK, my background and passion has always been Bluegrass."

POWER added, "I’m using the skills I’ve acquired in this field to get the 'real' stories behind Bluegrass music. “Not the myth; but how these musicians went from their homes in a post-industrial AMERICA and created a brand new form of music, creating a culture and a movement."

The show is being kicked off with a live event in NASHVILLE on MARCH 18th at the AMERICAN LEGION POST 82.
