EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling W256CL/PARK FOREST-CHICAGO, IL to CHICAGO TRANSLATORS LLC for $1.9 million. The primary station is listed as HUBBARD AC WLIT (93.9 LITE FM)/CHICAGO.
In other filings with the FCC, RANDY MARKEL has filed the paperwork to sell 50% of MARKEL ENTERTAINMENT, LLC, licensee of Sports KFNS-A (590 THE FAN)/WOOD RIVER, IL-ST. LOUIS, to ARCHFORD ENTERTAINMENT LLC, owned equally by lawyer MARK GOLDENBERG's law firm GOLDENBERG HELLER & ANTOGNOLI, LLC and 4J TECHNOLOGIES, owned by JENNIFER MAHER, for $200,000 ($120,000 at closing, $80,000 on the one-year anniversary of closing).
HIGH PLAINS RADIO NETWORK, LLC is selling Classic Rock KAFN-A and K257GP (ARKANSAS ROCKS)/BENTON, AR and KWPS-F/CADDO VALLEY, AR to BIG BENTON HOT SPRINGS, LLC for $10,000, converting an LMA in effect since 2018 into a purchase.

And TBLC GREENVILLE STATIONS, LLC has closed on the sale of Regional Mexican WTOB-F (ACTIVA 103.9)/EASLEY-GREENVILLE, NC to RADIO TRAINING NETWORK, INC. for $850,000.
Also, in an ownership change yet to be filed with the FCC, former ARKANSAS Governor MIKE HUCKABEE has taken full control of OZARK MOUNTAIN MEDIA GROUP, LLC, licensee of Classic Country KRZK and Classic Hits KCAX-A-K251BZ/BRANSON, MO, AC KOMC-F (MY 100.1)/KIMBERLING CITY, MO, Adult Standards KHOZ-A, Country KHBZ (102.9 THE Z), and K235CE/HARRISON, AR plus HOMETOWNDAILYNEWS.COM from PAUL COATES. STEVE WILLOUGHBY has been named GM of the cluster, acquired by HUCKABEE and COATES in 2018.
The FCC has in additon rescinded its Forfeiture Order against CURTIS MEDIA GROUP's CAROLINA RADIO GROUP, INC. for changing the primary station of W225DF/RALEIGH, NC without notice and failing to show a "technical need" for that change, admitting that, contrary to the Order's stated basis, CRG had actually already paid the fine, obviating the need for the formal order.
