CITY OF HOPE has decided to postpone it's 14th ANNUAL TASTE OF HOPE event set for APRIL 2nd in NEW YORK to a later date due to the COVID-19 coronavirus.
In a letter to its members, CITY OF HOPE & THE MUSIC, FILM & ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY TEAM noted:
"We are closely monitoring the situation and is taking extra steps that are necessary to protect the health of our patients, who have unique needs – as well as the health of our staff, donors, volunteers, and partners. Our decisions are first and foremost aimed at safety and well-being for all with whom we interact.
"With an abundance of caution and everyone’s health in mind, we are postponing to a later date. We will notify you when the new date has been solidified. Organizations across the country are making similar difficult, but necessary, decisions.
"We have worked closely with ALISSA POLLACK, EVP, Global Music Marketing & Strategy/iHEARTMEDIA in making the decision to postpone the 14th ANNUAL TASTE OF HOPE event and will work with our event chairs and committee members to determine the best path forward for rescheduling."
