Salem Fourth Quarter Revenues, Income Fall

SALEM MEDIA GROUP, INC. fourth quarter 2019 consolidated total revenue decreased 3.8% to $64.6 million. with net loss widening by 47.5% to $4.5 million (17 cents/share) and Adjusted EBITDA off 11.6% to $10.2 million.

Broadcast net revenue fell 1.2% to $50.5 million (same station up 1.2% to $49.4 million) and Station Operating Income decreased 0.8% to $12.5 million (same station off 0.5% to $12.8 million). Digital media revenue dropped 15% to $9.8 million and operating Income fell 34.1% to $2 million; Publishing revenue slipped 5.1% to $4.3 million and Publishing Operating Loss increased 77.3% to $0.9 million.
