Radio winners of the 2007 ALFRED I. DUPONT-COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY AWARDS for broadcast journalism include NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO for its coverage of IRAQ and WGBH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION's CAPE AND ISLANDS NPR stations -- WNAN/NANTUCKET, WCAI/WOODS HOLE, and WZAI/BREWSTER -- for "Two CAPE CODs: Hidden Poverty on the Cape and Islands."
The two awards are among 14 to be given JANUARY 17 at COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY and featured on a PBS special to air on JANUARY 18.
