MONTE SPEARMAN's HIGH PLAINS RADIO NETWORK is selling another cluster, with Country KEYB (108 KEY FM)/ALTUS, OK and Oldies KKRE and Classic Rock KJOK (THE BIG DOG 102.7)/HOLLIS. OK sold to BLAKE BREWER's PARAGON PLUS, LLC for $400,000. MEDIA SERVICES GROUP's BILL WHITLEY served as broker for the seller.
HIGH PLAINS is also selling Oldies KKNM/BOVINA, TX, Contemporary Christian KDAV-A (THE SPIRIT AM 1590)/LUBBOCK, Classic Rock KKYC (102.3 THE WOLF)/CLOVIS, NM, and Hot AC KRIA (103.9 THE PULSE)/PLAINVIEW, TX to T&N ENTERPRISES WEST TEXAS, LLC for an undisclosed price.
In other filings with the FCC, SCREEN DOOR BROADCASTING, LLC is selling K237GE/OKLAHOMA CITY to TYLER MEDIA, LLC for $200,000. The primary station is News-Talk KOKC-A/OKLAHOMA CITY.
EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has closed on the purchase of WCWS-F/WOOSTER, OH from THE COLLEGE OF WOOSTER for $170,000.
The transactions transferring positive control of AD-VENTURE MEDIA, INC., licensee of News-Talk WBIW-A and Oldies WQRK (SUPER OLDIES 105.5)/BEDFORD, IN from L. DEAN SPENCER to HOLLY A. DAVIS for undisclosed consideration as part of the transfer of SPENCER's 752 shares has closed. Under the transfer agreement, 477 of SPENCER's shares were transferred to DAVIS, 125 each to STUART GRAHAM SPENCER and SUSAN LEIGH SPENCER, and 25 to SCOTT ANDREW SPENCER; BARBARA A. SPENCER's 112 shares were divided among herself (6 shares), L. DEAN SPENCER (6 shares), and SCOTT ANDREW SPENCER (100 shares). The transfers were authorized at a NOVEMBER 8, 2018 board meeting.
