WGBH/Boston Adds Nightly Show On Coronavirus Pandemic

WGBH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION News-Talk WGBH/BOSTON is adding a nightly one-hour news show about the Coronavirus pandemic and the effects of COVID-19 on NEW ENGLAND. "IN IT TOGETHER," debuting TONIGHT at 7p (ET), is hosted by Executive Editor ARUN RATH and will air weeknights. The show will be recorded using best practices for social distancing, with guests recording in a separate studio or by phone, and staff maintaining six-foot spacing.

“In a time of great uncertainty, we want to offer listeners the information and analysis they need to navigate a rapidly changing world,” said GM PHIL REDO. “We know that our programs provide regularity to the upended lives of our audiences. We’re hoping this new offering builds a sense of community as we face the challenges of this pandemic.”

The new show is bumping "PBS NEWS HOUR" to 8p, replacing the replay of "THE WORLD."
