Country Artists Livestream Performances During Times Of 'Social Distancing'

Matt Stell Will Livestream A Performance On Friday

Despite many concert cancellations due to CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) concerns, Country artists are taking to social media to share live performances with their audiences. KEITH URBAN, LUKE COMBS, TENILLE TOWNES, TENILLE ARTS, BRANDON LAY, SHENANDOAH, MADDIE & TAE, JORDAN DAVIS and MITCHELL TENPENNY are just a few who have already done livestreamed performances. They were joined by LUKE BRYAN, who gave a surprise FACEBOOK LIVE performance from a cigar shop at an undisclosed beach town earlier TODAY (3/19), and promised to do more as the country's quarantine period continues.

ARISTA NASHVILLE's BRAD PAISLEY gave out a phone number on social media last night (3/18) and is currently taking requests for a FACEBOOK LIVE concert he plans to do from home TONIGHT at 5p (CT).

WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE's ASHLEY MCBRYDE also went live on FACEBOOK THURSDAY afternoon to perform, chat with fans, and encourage donations to the charity MUSICARES, which assists those in the music industry in times of need. Fellow WARNER artist MICHAEL RAY will host a "Concert From The Couch" TONIGHT at 6p (CT) on INSTAGRAM. Label mate GABBY BARRETT will give a performance from her home on SUNDAY, MARCH 22nd at 7:30p (CT) on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK, joined by husband and fellow musician CADE FOEHNER. Like MCBRYDE, BARRETT will be encouraging donations to MUSICARES.

Several SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE artists have upcoming performances as well. RACHEL WAMMACK is scheduled for an INSTAGRAM livestream TODAY (3/19) at 4p (CT), TYLER BOOTH will livestream via FACEBOOK TODAY as well at 6:30p (CT), and MATT STELL will perform via INSTAGRAM with CHRIS BANDI and RAY FULCHER on FRIDAY, MARCH 20th, at 7:30p (CT).

BMLG RECORDS artist RILEY GREEN will perform TONIGHT (3/19) via INSTAGRAM at 7p (CT). THE VALORY MUSIC CO.'s TYLER RICH took over parent company BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP's INSTAGRAM Stories TODAY, and set two acoustic concerts, including one coming up TOMORROW (3/20) at 9:30p (CT) on INSTAGRAM.

MERCURY NASHVILLE'S TRAVIS DENNING will perform and give a margarita tutorial on INSTAGRAM live TONIGHT at 7:30p (CT). JOSH ABBOTT BAND will appear live on COX MEDIA GROUP KKBQ (THE NEW 93Q)/HOUSTON's "Quarantine Sessions" on FACEBOOK FRIDAY at 7p (CT).

REDNECK RECORDS' JESSI G will be live on FACEBOOKJTONIGHT (3/19) at 7:30p (CT) for her second "Quarantine concert Series" show. Country trio TEMECULA ROAD will recreate their planned set from the cancelled "C2C FESTIVAL" during a livestream with SOUNDS LIKE NASHVILLE on that web site's FACEBOOK page on FRIDAY, MARCH 20th at 7p (CT). Also on FRIDAY, JOHN KING will host "Tunes From The Tub" at 5p (CT) on YOUTUBE, INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK.

COMBS reposted his livestream to his INSTAGRAM page, and captioned the video, "Pumped I was able to play a couple of songs for y'all! Thankful technology allows us to connect like this and forget about everything that's going on for a little. Everyone stay safe and keep up with the WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION for all the latest."
