TOWNSQUARE AC WHOM (94.9)/PORTLAND, ME morning host AJ DUKETTE has parted ways with the company.

DUKETTE reached out to say, "After almost five years as Brand Manager and host of "AJ & Nikki in the Morning" I was released this afternoon. I was told that it was part of the company's plan to protect its long-term financial health, in light the recent widespread economic turmoil that is affecting so many."

DUKETTE joined the station in 2015, following 15-years at BINNIE MEDIA/CONCORD, NH, where he served as OM/PD and on air host.

He continued, "This came as a complete surprise to me, at an already scary time - with so much uncertainty in the world today. I'd like to thank HERB IVY for the incredible opportunity to work in this market, NIKKI CRUZ for being an amazing co-host for the past three years, and also thank the many listeners and clients I've had the pleasure to connect with in my time with the station."

DUKETTE plans to take time to process everything, before beginning the search for a new opportunity. In the meantime he tell ALL ACCESS, "I'll be taking some time to focus on further growing my voiceover business, and spending some quality time with my 10 and 12 year old daughters, and my fiance Kathleen, as we prepare to get married later this year."
