KSOF(Soft Rock 98.9)/Fresno Morning Host Returns Home Following Coronavirus Travel Scare

Being out of the country on a wonderful vacation is the dream of many. But that dream quickly became a nightmare for TERI ANN SCHLESSER. 

The iHEARTMEDIA AC KSOF (SOFT ROCK 98.9)/FRESNO, CA morning host was vacationing in HONDURAS on a small island near the mainland, when she learned local authorities were closing the borders to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

It took some doing, but she and her husband were eventually able to book a flight out. And that was when the HONDURAN government decided to stop all inbound travel to their local population.

In an interview with ABC-30 (KFSN-TV)/FRESNO, SCHLESSER said, "It was pretty hectic for the first few days and then it was stressful, because hour by hour word would change." 

By SATURDAY (3/21) the government said they'd allow planes to come in so visitors could return to their home countries. 

SCHLESSER and her husband returned home today (3/23) and must self-quarantine for 14 days.
