'Mini Christmas' Leads To All-Christmas Weekend On WYXB (B105.7)/Indianapolis

EMMIS AC WYXB (B105.7)/INDIANAPOLIS tossed the yule log back onto the fire and rolled out nothing but CHRISTMAS music last night (3/24).

B105.7 PD SEAN COPELAND explained the thought process, "We did it last night and will do it again tonight. We figured 3/24 and 3/25 could be positioned as a 'mini' CHRISTMAS EVE/CHRISTMAS DAY.”  "After just one night, the positive response has been so strong that we’re planning an ALL CHRISTMAS WEEKEND this FRIDAY through SUNDAY." "We figure people are at home with their families and most things are closed, so it already feels like CHRISTMAS in many ways.  People have told us it’s reduced their anxiety and given them a "we’re all in this together, but we can still have fun” sort of vibe."
