Scott Ackerman Leaves TuneCore CEO Position

Stepping Down, But Staying

SCOTT ACKERMAN, CEO at TUNECORE, is stepping down from the role, effective APRIL 15th. ACKERMAN joined the company in 2012, becoming CEO two years later. The story appeared in MUSIC BUSINESS WORLDWIDE.

He plans to remain with the DIY distribution platform as a strategic advisor reporting to DENIS LADEGAILLERIE, CEO of TUNECORE parent company BELIEVE GROUP, who are now searching for ACKERMAN's replacement as CEO. 

ACKERMAN's previous experience includes being VP of Customer Care at eHARMONY and also at consumer services company CENDANT. His prior experience includes executive operations responsibilities at AMERICAN AIRLINES, NORTHWEST AIRLINES and US AIRWAYS.
