Longtime DETROIT radio and TV personality BOB ALLISON passed away WEDNESDAY afternoon (3/25) at 87.
ALLISON, most recently on BIRACH Ethnic WNZK-A/DETROIT, was well-known for his long-running "ASK YOUR NEIGHBOR" show at WWJ-A/DETROIT in 1962 and on other stations, including WIID-A/WCAR-A, WBRB-A, WLQV-A, WEXL-A, and WNZK-A, from 1978 through about three weeks ago, and his hosting the "MILKY'S PARTY TIME" children's show for five years in the 1960s and "BOWLING FOR DOLLARS" on WWJ-TV/WDIV-TV in the 1970s. His son ROB will host the WNZK show TODAY (3/26).
