Karah Leigh Returns To Nights At KTBZ (94.5 The Buzz)/Houston After Being Out Since March 31st With COVID-19

Karah's Back!

Great news! iHEARTMEDIA Alternative KTBZ (94.5 THE BUZZ)/HOUSTON night jock KARAH LEIGH returned to the airwaves last night (4/20) for her 7p-mid airshift after being off the air for 20 days recovering from COVID-19. KARAH indicated her first symptoms were fever and body aches and she hasn’t been back on-air since MARCH 31st. 

"I was tested that week and found out on MONDAY, APRIL 6th that I was positive and I was told to quarantine for 15 days from my first fever," said LEIGH. "I went the extra mile and stayed away for 20 days! I was really lucky to have a 'mild' case of COVID-19, which feels anything but mild! It’s been three weeks since my first symptoms and everything makes me tired, but CHRIS CUOMO says that’s normal and I believe him. I’ve been itching to get back on the air, though, and I’m so glad that I’m still here to do this job. Now go wash your hands!"
