A letter to the affected market managers from CLEAR CHANNEL's JOHN HOGAN notes that the sales are anticipated "to be finalized by mid-year, if not sooner." HOGAN says, "The decision to sell your stations was not made quickly or easily, nor was it a reflection on the efforts and work of you and your team. It is a business decision in keeping with the strategic direction of CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO. Thank you for staying focused on your job throughout this process."
