Two Arrested In The 2002 Murder Of Run-DMC's Jam Master Jay

Two men have been arrested in the murder of JAM MASTER JAY, the former DJ of RUN-DMC. JAM MASTER JAY (real name: JASON MIZELL) was killed in OCTOBER 2002 in HOLLIS, QUEENS.

KARL JORDAN JR. and RONALD WASHINGTON allegedly murdered MIZELL over a drug deal that had gone bad. Prosecutors allege that WASHINGTON and JORDAN had been cut out of a deal to distribute a quantity of cocaine for MIZELL in MARYLAND.

JORDAN pleaded not guilty today (8/17) while WASHINGTON, who is currently serving 17 years for a 2007 armed robbery conviction, will be arraigned at a later date.
