BENZTOWN has created an audio tribute to SUPREME COURT Justice, THE HONORABLE RUTH BADER GINSBURG, who died FRIDAY (9/18) in WASHINGTON, DC at age 87 from complications from metastatic cancer of the pancreas..
Justice GINSBURG was the first woman on the HARVARD LAW REVIEW's editorial staff, the first female tenured professor at COLUMBIA LAW SCHOOL, a leading figure in the fight against gender discrimination in the 70's (founding the WOMEN's RIGHTS PROJECT at the AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION), and in 1993, the second woman ever to be appointed to the U.S. SUPREME COURT. Through more than 27 years on the SUPREME COURT, Justice GINSBURG remained both a powerful liberal voice and a dedicated friend to Justices across the aisle.
The BENZTOWN audio tribute to GINSBURG was written by BILL ROYAL, produced by TOM GREEN and voiced by TESSA HALL. Check it out, here.
