John Gehron Resigns From Clear Channel

Shocker! CLEAR CHANNEL/CHICAGO Regional VP JOHN GEHRON has resigned. In a memo to the staff, he writes:

"I am resigning my position as Market Manager to pursue new goals but I will remain in a consultant position with CLEAR CHANNEL.

"I am proud of what we have accomplished during my four years with you. Our SUMMER ratings were the best the cluster has ever had, we have the most talented staff and air personalities in CHICAGO and the sales team has done a tremendous job of working with our clients in using a variety of commercial lengths for success.
