It's official, as CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KFI-A/LOS ANGELES weekend tech talk "THE TECH GUY" host LEO LAPORTE is launching in national syndication through PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS beginning FEBRUARY 17. The show airs live 11a-2p PT (2-5p ET) SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS.
LAPORTE, one of the most well-known names in the world of computer and high-tech radio and TV programming, currently hosts and produces several popular podcasts, including "THIS WEEK IN TECH (TWiT)," and hosts "CALL FOR HELP" (to be renamed "THE LAB WITH LEO LAPORTE" in MARCH) on CANADA's G4 TECH TV. He previously hosted a computer show on KGO-A and KSFO-A/SAN FRANCISCO, hosted the original "CALL FOR HELP" and "THE SCREEN SAVERS" on the U.S. version of TECH TV (now G4), and has written several books.
