RIF Process Continues

What started on MONDAY (11/1) is turning into a multi-day event with iHEARTMEDIA's RIF. It's a very tough time to lose a job at any time, but right now, with COVID-19 impacting everyone's financials, it is especially rough for those in radio, and in particular those being downsized at iHEARTMEDIA.

While there are some cost-savings, it seems that more stations will be programmed by fewer people. New hires will be given new areas of responsibility to meet changes in operational needs caused by a work from home scenario as well as competitive challenges to support new and emerging platforms and products.
