Coinciding with the annual NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST (NPB) this week, MOODY Christian Inspirational WMBI/CHICAGO's morning program will broadcast live from the HERITAGE FOUNDATION in WASHINGTON, DC today through FRIDAY. Hosts MARK ELFSTRAND and DAVE MITCHELL will highlight the faith community at work in the nation’s capital, and ELFSTRAND will attend the BREAKFAST on THURSDAY (2/1).
"The NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST attracts thousands of people from around the world to pray for the leadership of our country,” said ELFSTRAND. “There are several different functions associated with the NPB, and they offer stories of hope for AMERICA as it is touched by men and women of faith.”
The WMBI team will interview a variety of guests for the morning program and MOODY BROADCASTING NETWORK’S “PRIMETIME AMERICA,” including Congressmen PETER ROSKAM (R-IL), MIKE PENCE (R-IN), RAY LAHOOD (R-IL) and TIM WAHLBERG (R-MI); D. JAMES KENNEDY CENTER FOR CHRISTIAN SCHOLARSHIP Dir. GEORGE ROLLER; NATIONAL RELIGIOUS BROADCASTERS Sr. VP/General Counsel CRAIG PARSHALL and Dir./Government Relations BOB POWERS; FOX NEWS contributor FRED BARNES; and NATIONAL THEATRE CHURCH/DC Pastor MARK BATTERSON.
The WMBI morning program airs daily from 5-9a (CT).
