Meredith Q3 Broadcasting Revenues Dip

MEREDITH CORP. overall third quarter revenues rose 35% to $390.3 million, with net earnings up 11 percent to $26.4 million (52 cents/share). The broadcasting division, which includes the company's sole radio property, WNEM-A/SAGINAW, saw revenues slip 2% to $71.8 million, mostly blamed on the loss of political advertising from the previous year. The company does not report its radio revenues separately from TV.
