KJJY/Des Moines Raised $145k With 'Two Days Of Compassion' Radiothon

KJJY/Des Moines Raised $145k

VARIETY CHILDREN'S CHARITIES of DES MOINES received $145,510.22 from the "Two Days Of Compassion Radiothon" on CUMULUS MEDIA Country KJJY (92.5 FM)/DES MOINES. The entire staff worked remotely, doing interviews via video conference and phone. It was not an easy process but, in the end, raised more money than a similar event in 2019.  

VP/Market Mgr. JACK TADDEO said, “Even during a year of unprecedented job loss and sickness, our 92.5 KJJY fans came through for VARIETY CHILDREN'S CHARITIES, the people who help families struggling with making ends meet while caring for children with a life-threatening illness. We’re humbled and deeply grateful for the response from our DES MOINES area community.”
