Condolences to family and friends of longtime SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA radio personality PERRY ALLEN, who died WEDNESDAY night at 75, according to LARADIO.COM.
ALLEN came to LOS ANGELES from WKBW-A/BUFFALO in an infamous "Find PERRY ALLEN" stunt (which played a part in the station's license revocation) at KRLA-A in 1959 and later worked at KHJ-A and KHJ-TV, KFI-A, and several stations in SAN DIEGO, including KFMB-F, KSDO-A, KCBQ-A, KDEO-A, and KVSD-A. He also hosted at KVI-A/SEATTLE, KHOW-A and KTLN-A/DENVER, WEBR-A/BUFFALO, and KNEB-A/SCOTTSBLUFF, NE.
