The HANDHELD COMEDY NETWORK launched its comedians on CJAY/CALGARY via the radio station website at www.CJAY92.com this morning. Morning man GERRY FORBES will launch "FORBES And Friends" by playing teaser clips of HHCN material before sending listeners to a CJAY/HHCN customized web page, where they’ll have free online access to eight different comedy shows.

"Terrestrial broadcasters are fast coming to grips with a new listener reality that wants their content on demand," said STANDARD RADIO/CALGARY OM STEWART MEYERS. "We've watched the appointment listening model slowly change to a time shifted environment. Now we'll bring first run comedy to our listeners on their schedule."
