Former 25-year COX Top 40 WBLI/NASSAU-SUFFOLK morning man STEVE HARPER's non-compete is up, and he's been named PD of LONG ISLAND RADIO BROADCASTING's crosstown Top 40/Rhythmic WBEA (101.7 THE BEAT). He'll also do bits in the morning on THE BEAT as well as host the afternoon show on AAA clustermate WEHM & WEHN. He starts on FEBRUARY 26.
