WICHITA radio vet MANNY COWZINSKI has been named Director/Marketing & Promotions for JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP/WICHITA, overseeing promotional efforts for Country KFDI, Country KFTI-A (1070 THE RANCH), Classic Country KFTI-F, Rock KICT (T-95), Classic Hits KFXJ (104.5 THE FOX) and Spanish KYQQ (RADIO LOBO).

COWZINSKI started his WICHITA radio career as Asst. PD, MD and air personality for KKRD in 1990. He spent time on-air at KMXV (MIX 93.3)/KANSAS CITY and was PD of KJMK/JOPLIN, then returned to WICHITA in 2005 to host then-AC KMXW (MAGIC 92.3)'s morning show for JOURNAL.

"This is an exciting challenge for me," COWZINSKI said. "JOURNAL is a great company, and WICHITA is my home. I am looking forward to what we can accomplish across these six radio stations."
