Justin Nesci Joins WMG As SVP/Digital Media & Sponsorship Sales

WARNER MUSIC GROUP taps JUSTIN NESCI as Sr. VP/Digital Media & Sponsorship Sales, working with WMG's recorded music and music publishing divisions to oversee the company's worldwide online and mobile advertising sales strategy. Based in NEW YORK, NESCI reports to WMG Sr. VP/Global Consumer Marketing DAN PELSON.
"JUSTIN is a rare advertising executive who combines significant digital marketing experience with the perspective of a major media and entertainment company," PELSON said. "As WMG continues its evolution into a diverse, music-based content and services company, advertising sales will become an increasingly important component of our effort to monetize our interaction with consumers."
NESCI said, "WARNER MUSIC GROUP is producing a tremendous amount of video for distribution on the web and maintains a collection of some of the most innovative, engaging and well-known websites in music and entertainment. I'm looking forward to working with the advertising community to communicate the appeal and popularity of these web assets and brands, and to initiate some exciting opportunities for marketers to reach music fans in an entirely new way."
Before joining WMG, NESCI worked at MTV NETWORKS as a VP in the Kids & Family Group, where he managed the national advertising sales team and developed the advertising sales strategy for NICKELODEON ONLINE. Earlier he worked at INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT GROUP as a VP in the sports and entertainment agency's Technology Strategy Group. NESCI has also worked for BOLT INC. and E! NETWORKS.
