After almost two years as CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WRVQ (Q94)/RICHMOND PD/morning star, WAYNE COY has resigned. He's heading WEST, and will join ... oooooops, can't tell ya yet. But we can tell ya he's not headed to KLLC/SAN FRANCISCO, but is still wearing his OAKLAND RAIDERS' cap, proudly. Confused?

What ALL ACCESS can tell you is that COY's last day on the air at Q94 is NOVEMBER 2nd, which coincides to the day with COY's first day ever on the radio when he first cracked the mic, and talked up THE COMMODORES/(Lady) You Bring Me Up on flame-throwin' KOKX-A/KEOKUK, IA. BTW, COY denies he stepped in the vocal.

Back at Q94, APD/morning co-star DARRIN STONE takes on Interim PD duties, and MD JONATHAN REED becomes Interim APD, effective NOVEMBER 10th. COY departs that day for ... ah, still can't tell ya!
