Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn And More Among Nominees For New CMT Music Award Category 'Trending Comeback Song Of The Year'

New category unveiled

CMT has unveiled the new, socially-voted "Trending Comeback Song of the Year" category for the upcoming 2022 CMT MUSIC AWARDS. The new category honors Country hitmakers whose classic songs have resurfaced in this past year's social trends. Starting TODAY (4/5), fans can vote by "swiping up" on CMT's INSTAGRAM story until SATURDAY, APRIL 9th.

The nominees are ALAN JACKSON's "Freight Train," BROOKS & DUNN's "Neon Moon," DOLLY PARTON's "9 to 5," REBA McENTIRE's "I'm A Survivor," SARA EVANS' "Suds in the Bucket," SHANIA TWAIN's "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" and TAYLOR SWIFT's "Love Story."

The winners will be announced on CMT's social platforms before the 2022 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, airing MONDAY, APRIL 11th at 8p (ET) on CBS and PARAMOUNT+.
