KATM (Kat Country 103)/Modesto, CA's D.J. Walker Suffers Heart Attack

ALL ACCESS sends get well wishes to CUMULUS MEDIA Country KATM (KAT COUNTRY 103)/MODESTO, CA morning host D.J. WALKER, who suffered a heart attack YESTERDAY (4/6).

He posted the health update on his FACEBOOK page, writing, "So … I had a heart attack ... four occlusions, three [stents] and a future procedure to come. I was at home having lunch and didn’t feel well. Thought it was just a headache. Then my neck, arms and shoulders hurt. So, I took an aspirin. Then my chest felt heavy ... I never felt like that before, so I had DEANNA drive me to the hospital in LODI. Within 30 minutes I had a full-blown heart attack. Incredible chest pain radiating through my shoulders, arms, neck, even up into my teeth! After a bunch of drugs and 45 minutes later I was at DAMERON hospital’s cardiac catheter lab having stents put in to my heart. They went in through my right arm. I’ll be here for a few days for recovery and then go home probably sometime next week. Close call. Thanks to the LODI hospital ER nurses, ambulance drivers, Dr. BUHAKI and the team here at the DAMERON cardiac catheter unit."
